Heatherwood Glen
Welcome!
This unofficial neighborhood site is voluntarily maintained by Jen Wheeler (HOA Secretary,) for your convenience. Here, you will find our bylaws and other official docs, and easy links to most pertinent neighborhood/association info.
Please atttend our ANNUAL MEETING November 29th at 6:15 p.m. at the Mound Public Library meeting room.
Please note: you cannot print many of these documents straight from the site; you must first DOWNLOAD THEM TO YOUR COMPUTER, AND THEN YOU MAY PRINT THEM.
The goal of the association is to ensure that our development maintains its attractive appearance and provides for its residents a comfortable place to live free from irresponsible distractions. Section 7.9 of our covenant Declaration reads as follows: “All owners and occupants and their guests shall have a right of quiet enjoyment in their respective units, and shall use the property in such a manner as will not cause a nuisance, nor unduly restrict, interfere with or impede the use and quiet enjoyment of the property by other owners and occupants and their guests.” As residents of Heatherwood Glen we are all subject to the established governing regulations of the association.
Section 8 of the Declaration requires any alterations visible from the exterior must first receive the approval of the association. If you have questions, please ask for clarification from a board member.
Consistent with this goal please be sure:
You keep your lawn clear of anything that would interfere with the work of our lawn service.
You keep your decorative rock clear of weeds and shrubs trimmed.
You water your lawn during summer dry periods (if there are no city watering restrictions)
Your deck is refinished at reasonable intervals. The association has previously ruled; “Neglect of decks will compel the association to arrange for the maintenance at owner’s expense”.
During the winter, have driveways, sidewalks, and stair landings clear for our snow removal service. This includes removing any mats or decor that will make shoveling difficult.
